Welcome to Tabitha’s Closet!
Tabitha became known for her acts of charity. The Bible tell us that she learned to sew and make garments for the poor. Her fingers and funds were used to comfort and relieve the needy. She became a disciple of Jesus Christ and was a member of the church in Jaffa. Her humanitarian activities were motivated through her desire to share the gospel and the saving grace of Jesus Christ. She was raised from the dead and experienced a life of miracles.
Through Tabitha’s Closet, you have the opportunity to have a miracle in your life. Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth and the life” (John 14:6). “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shall be saved” (Acts 16:31).

Tabitha’s Closet upcoming sale – Join your neighbors to make the next Tabitha’s Closet sale a success. Preparing for and running these sales takes a team. We need you! There are four different days/times available, each with its own jobs:

Set-up: Wednesday, May 31, 6:30-8:30pm

Evening Sale: Friday, June 2, 7:00-8:00pm (volunteers arrive 6:30pm)

Morning Sale: Saturday, June 3, 9:00-11:00am (volunteers arrive 8:30am)

Tear down: Saturday, June 3, 11:00am-12:00pm

Ministry Partners – Tabitha’s Closet is looking for ministry partners who can commit to work once per month January through May sorting clothing donations. Choose Mondays or Tuesdays (see schedule). Sign up with Amanda Bridle or Dawn Heagle at Drop-in workers always welcome.

Tuesday mornings, 9:00-11:00am: Jan. 3, Feb. 7, March 7, April 11, May 2, May 30
Mondays evenings, 6:30-8:30pm: Jan. 16, Feb. 20, March 20, April 17, May 15

Donations—Tabitha’s Closet donations are now accepted during open hours (Monday-Thursday, 9am-5pm) in a bin near entrance A. Please ring doorbell to be admitted. Donations are also accepted in the small room outside the kitchen (near entrance C on Sundays). We always accept clothing and shoes in excellent condition, linens including bedding and towels, and kitchen items. We no longer accept furniture, lamps, electronics, books, movies, music, toys, or decorative items. Contact with any questions.
