  1. Every follower of Jesus is to clothe themselves with humility toward God and others.
  2. Every follower of Jesus is to be self-controlled and alert because the enemy is on the prowl.
  3. Every follower of Jesus is summoned by the God of all grace to endure sufferings like Christ and to share in His eternal glory.
